Are you Pregnant?

Juliet James teaches ante-natal classes to enable women to prepare for birth using appropriately modified yoga postures, simple breathing techniques and birthing positions.  The classes include optimal foetal positioning and how to prevent or relieve the common discomforts of pregnancy. The classes are friendly, informal and fun.  They provide a warm supportive environment and a great way to prepare for birth, share experiences and meet other mums to be.

We also have workshops suitable for first-time mums, those with children and birthing partners (men and women) run by Paul Hancocks. You can start transforming your birthing experience for a tenner (free for NCT members) at the Grove Natural Therapy Centre on:

- Learning to eliminate or reduce fear
- Managing pain and increasing comfort levels
- Entering childbirth in a state of calm, confidence and control

Flow Yoga Classes

Our other yoga course is run by Laura Fisher.  Laura's yoga classes are based on Flow Yoga which is a dynamic and physical yoga practice where traditional yoga poses from Hatha and Iyengar Yoga are put together to form rhythmic sequences set to music. . This yoga style is physically challenging as it builds core strength and stamina whilst being deeply relaxing as the practise becomes a movement mediation. In Laura’s yoga classes you can expect to sweat, laugh and chill out.
